Kidney Health Australia has said there are 43 teams already registered for the rally, with more expected to sign up before the July 31 cut off.
A number of participants could be expected to make their way to Deni in the days leading up to the rally starting, using local accommodation and services.
A ‘Start Dinner’ will be hosted in Deniliquin the night before the rally kicks off.
Rally organisers are also in discussions about what other local community events may complement the event.
The Kidney Kar Rally raises money for Kidney Health Australia, to fight kidney disease in Australian children.
In 2023, it raised almost $400,000 for the organisation’s programs.
It brought the total amount raised in the 35 years of the rally to more than $17 million.
The rally is open to all fully road registered cars subject to their meeting certain safety requirements and compliance with rally rules and regulations.
After setting off from Deniliquin this August, the participants will take a secret route via Hahndorf in South Australia.
The rally will then conclude in Leeton, NSW on August 10, where a presentation dinner will be held that evening.
