Juniors on the big court

Bella Knox, Emma Wettenhall, Jack McGrillen and James Gatacre are the first students from the Riverina area to make it this far in the tournament in decades.

It was the 1970s when a Riverina school attended the competition, with Temora Public School claiming the trophy that year.

The North School team has earned its place in Sydney after winning all previous matches.

The foursome have been training for this cup for the past six months and will be competing against Milton Public School at Sydney Olympic Park.

They are not only excited to play such an important game, but to also do it on the Olympic court.

The four players will compete in a series of matches, singled and mixed, to determine who will advance to the next round.
