Competing in 25kg of firefighting kit plus a mask. he completed the huge 28 floor climb up the Crown Metrapol building in six minutes and 22 seconds.
Not a bad effort for a first attempt, you must agree.
Well, Jordan will be back in September to do it all again.
And he will be joined by his stepfather, Daniel (Mick) Moylan, and other Echuca firefighters.
If you would like to support Jordan, go to firefighterclimb.org.au. Click on the donate button, and you can type Jordan;s name into the ‘donate on behalf of’ box.
If you are not able to handle the internet, his grandparents Kaylene and Bill Simpson will be happy to accept any donations on his behalf.

I believe the Poms have got a bit of a ‘do’ over there tomorrow, but I can guarantee it won’t compare with the Mathoura Bra Fence group’s annual cancer fundraiser.
To be held at the Pastoral Hotel, the event will include raffles, auctions and live music by the Bendigo based Bedrock Band.
In addition to this, a generous gent called Sean has volunteered to have his head shaved on the night to boost the fundraising. Good for you Sean!
Food and refreshments will be available from 6pm with music from 7pm.
The event will support local cancer sufferers having to travel for treatment.

Murray River Council is seeking comments on its draft Local Housing Strategy which is currently on display.
The two-part strategy outlines the key factors effecting housing supply and demand within its area and offers an implementation plan for land activation and housing delivery on a town by town basis over the next 20 years.
I would urge residents to check out the strategy on council’s Your Say website - yoursay.murrayriver.nsw.gov.au - to see what, if anything, is proposed for Mathoura.
All too often we get overlooked, and if we don’t speak up now it will be another 20 years before we get another chance.
If the internet is not your cup of tea, approach council about making the document available for perusal.
