Huge fire truck display at open day

So huge was the display of fire engines at the Deniliquin NSW Fire & Rescue open day on Saturday, they spilled out onto the road and took up almost half of the adjacent car park.

The trucks represented multiple eras, and came from the brigadeâ€™s own collection and from a handful of local private collections.

Guests of the open day enjoyed climbing on the fire engines, having a turn at the fire hose, tours of the station and a free barbecue cooked by brigade members.

The open day kicks off the traditional winter fire safety period.
