Police are investigating a ‘hit and run’ incident in north Deniliquin on Friday afternoon.

A car turning onto Davidson St from Herriott St about 4.40pm allegedly collided with the front of another vehicle, partially pulling off its front bumper.

The offending vehicle then reportedly drove away.

Witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage are encouraged to contact police on 5881 9299 or CrimeStoppers on 1300 333 000.

Cash, cards missing

Police are investigating the reported theft of $30 is cash and a number of credit cards from a car parked in north Deniliquin.

The car was left parked in Finley Rd about 5pm Saturday, and when the owner returned to it at 9am Sunday the glove box and centre console contents had been strewn around the car.

The money and cards were discovered missing on closer inspection.

The car’s owner told police dogs were heard barking about 1am.
