Intereach is partnering with Legal Aid NSW and Hume Riverina Community Legal Service to offer free legal information tomorrow, December 4, at Intereach Community Centre Hub, 78 Napier St, Deniliquin.
One of the services available on the day will be free NSW and Victoria birth certificates for eligible people.
Free legal services for other matters will also be available to residents in the Edward River, Berrigan and Murray River shires.
Tomorrow’s event will include a 10am to 11am session on wills, power of attorney, guardianship and medical directives.
This will be followed by a session on fines and work development orders (WDOs) from 11am to 12pm.
Colette Quin from Hume Riverina Community Legal Service said there’s no need to book to participate.
She said additional sessions may be held next year, depending on the demand for information for vulnerable people.
Attendees will also be able to access other information from agency stallholders, and Santa’s helpers will be on hand along with Claire’s Coffee Van.
