If you are driving around town today, especially before and after school, please take special care.
Today is National Ride2School Day so our future will be riding and scooting to and from school.
The older students will also take a ride around town while K-3 youngsters will complete road safety activities at the school.

Dane Swan did it last year, pulled on a Timbercutters’ jumper and joined the local lads for a run on the paddock, and what a great day that turned out to be.
Now it seems there’s another player with AFL connections who wants to get in on the act.
He’s none other than St Kilda’s Stephen Milne, who will be joining our lads for a game in round one of the 2024 season.
It will be a clash against Picola United on Easter Saturday, March 30.
There will no doubt plenty of fun and games - on and off the field.
Why don’t you go along and enjoy the festivities.
Gates will open at 8am on the day, with the canteen and bar operating during the day.

Easter wouldn’t be Easter in Mathoura without the annual Duck Race on Easter Sunday.
Hundreds of little yellow ducks take to the Murray River at Picnic Point, floating down stream to the finishing line.
The winning duck will earn its purchaser $700, second is $400, third is $200 and last place is $100.
Ducks can be secured for just $5 from the General Store, Tarragon Lodge or any footballer or netballer.
They will also be sold in the park during the Easter Fair on Saturday.

If you have noticed any locals fighting over a piece of rope lately they’re not wanting to tie anyone up, rather they will be getting into practice for the Easter Fair Tug of War Challenge.
It is a major attraction at the annual event, with teams of five contesting men’s, women’s and open events from 10.30am.
If you are interested in getting involved, you can enter your team at mathouraevents@gmail.com or via Facebook or Instagram.
The fair will be held in the Soldiers’ Memorial Gardens, corner of Lawrence and Livingstone St, on Easter Saturday.
