Police say the reading was recorded at Deniliquin Police Station after the man was initially stopped in Cressy St, Deniliquin about 3.50pm last Friday.
Stopped for a random breath test, police said he was later charged with high range prescribed content of alcohol.
His licence was suspended by police, pending a court appearance.
A 40 year-old man was charged with mid range prescribed content of alcohol on Tuesday afternoon, as well as a number of other offences after allegedly leading police in a pursuit.
The chase reportedly started after police attempted to stop an unregistered motorbike in Cressy St, Deniliquin about 4.30pm.
Murray River Police District Acting Inspector Sarah Lugsdin said the motorbike sped away.
Police gave chase with lights and sirens, but the rider managed to evade them.
Police were patrolling at McLean Beach a short time later when they spotted the rider, who was now on foot.
He tried to run from police, but officers managed to catch up with him.
Act Insp Lugsdin said the man resisted police, but was eventually arrested.
Back at Deniliquin Police Station, police reported to have recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.140.
He was also charged with police pursuit, resisting arrest and a number of traffic offences which including operating an unregistered motorbike.
He is to appear in Deniliquin Court on the charges on October 16.
