Five days of OOSH-oween fun

Every section of the centre is decorated, from the entry way and the hallways to the spaces shared by the children who attend every day after school.

Each child who entered wide-eyed on Friday afternoon was greeted by a life-size cackling witch before making their way through ‘blood-soaked’ bandages to find rooms filled with creepy spiders, flying bats, witches, skeletons and more.

The official OOSH-oween program started yesterday - which was Halloween - and educator Karen Martin said the themed activities will continue each day this week.

“There will be face painting, scavenger hunts, pin the leg on the spider and more,” she said.

“Wednesday is the big day for the students.

“Cavil Crampton makes us a really impressive cake every year, and we believe she may be making us her very realistic brain cake which was such a hit a few years back.”
