Employer of Choice:

The diverse workforce varies in ages from 16 to 73, with mostly part-time roles to allow for flexibility and work life balance for their staff.

The centre recognises the importance of empowering their workforce and supporting staff skills development at all levels.

Providing opportunities to train on the job, they currently have three school-based trainees, and another 18 staff training for Certificate to Bachelor level qualifications.

Initiatives such as the ‘Ripple Award’ ensure that staff are engaged with the values and mission of the centre and consider how they live and demonstrate the values in their daily work. The award reflects the ongoing positive impact across the whole organisation, when staff demonstrate integrity, joy, passion, inclusion and empathy to colleagues and clients.
