Down 350 overall on last sale, there were 1300 sheep and 2300 lambs offered.
There were no lines of heavy lambs available.
Much of the offering was smaller lines, including some plainer clean-up lots being sold ahead of winter.
Not all the usual orders attended, and prices were softer than a fortnight ago but inline with current industry trends.
The sheep sale showed some stronger results, but only on limited quotes.
The top lamb price was $171, with most of the handy trade type lambs making from $128 to $162 and a ballpark cost around 630c/kg carcase weight.
Secondary lots and pens of a few head sold at lower rates.
There were some solid sales recorded for lines of young store lambs that were later drop and could be carried on further into the winter. They made from $70 to $114/head.
Sheep prices remained between the current general dollar range of $50 to $96 head, with carcase prices improving on the better lines of mutton compared to a fortnight ago.
