Tomorrow’s round eight will be the last match before the school holiday break.
Registrations for the holiday coaching clinic are still being taken. The clinic runs from July 8 to 10 and will be run by quality coaches from Deniliquin and Melbourne. Forms are available on the Facebook page and have been emailed to parents. Registrations close on June 29.

A Grade: Mariners and United had a good, physical, close match even though the scoreboard didn’t show it. Victory had their best passing game on display.

Heart 4 def Victory 1. Best: Dexter Hardman, Jamie Smith. Sportsman: Jessica Smith, Shaleah Cooper.
B Grade: Heart were keeping Roar scoreless but a late goal got them on the scoreboard. Victory and Glory demonstrated some great corner kicks with Phoebe Crothers scoring off a Sam Pereira corner. Ella Broekman had some great saves as goal keeper in a close match between United and Mariners.

C Grade: Close game between Glory and Victory with the Hardman brothers, Dexter and Bentley, facing off. Heart and Roar had some great through balls to feed the strikers.

D Grade: All one sided matches this week with Heart, Victory and Mariners all failing to get on the scoreboard. However, there was some excellent defending on display from those three teams which bodes well for next year where they can use those skills.
