The Rovers suffered an unfortunate loss to a stronger team. Both teams were fiercely competitive for the four quarters. Toc snuck ahead going into the last quarter, and despite fighting hard to get within two goals Rovers were unable to contain Tocumwal.

After a close first quarter everyone worked hard to lift and convert loose balls. Thanks to our juniors Kate Westcott and Abbie Blake who stepped up once again.

Another strong win for the girls. Accurate shooting, defensive pressure and strong direct passes were consistent across the four quarters of the game.

It was a consistent four quarter game from everyone. Tocumwal had to fight hard for possession. Every turnover was converted to a Rovers goal. Jade Meadowcroft played for the first time in centre as if she had played there all year.

Although it was in trying conditions, the girls adjusted well for most of the game. Plenty of intercepts in the defensive end helped put Tocumwal under a lot of pressure when shooting.

Another awesome game of netball. Everyone was really determined and displayed great passages of play. Whole court defensive pressure created lots of turnovers.

The girls dominated the play with strong passes and great defence. They kept the pressure on all game to take a convincing win. Well done, girls.
