The Deniliquin Rovers netballers played their first home game for the Picola & District League season on Saturday when hosting Jerilderie.

Under 11s: The Rovers Under 11 girls again started off extraordinarily strong this week showing some great passages of play, with many turnovers/intercepts made throughout the game.
The defenders were exceptional all day.
All girls displayed excellent sportsmanship and are continuing to improve with every game.
No score was recorded.
Awards - Sienna Elphick and Ruby Cowley.
Under 13s: Another fantastic start to their game with every ball being chased and moved down the court straight into goalies Eliza Atley and Mak Finn who combined extremely well and made them count.
Reagan Behsman applied constant pressure on her opponents in defence, which made it difficult for the Jerilderie shooters.
All of the Rovers girls played a hard and fast game bringing home the win.

Under 15s: The Rovers played a full four quarters against the Demons.
A great defensive game by Erika Martin proved too much for the opposition, turning over many intercepts.
She was well supported by Matilda Glowrey and Elena Mulham.
The Rovers midcourt showed it had great depth with versatility and worked exceptionally well.
Abbie Blake stepped to another level, continuing to improve and adapt each week.
Overall a great team effort proved too much for strong Jerilderie side.

Under 17s: It was a close first quarter with Rovers leading by one at the first break.
Emma East dominated the shooting stats in this quarter with strong leads and finishing off with the goal.
The team showed their versatility with some positional changes and with some stellar defence by both Edwina Barclay and Charlotte Strong, the team finished the half leading by five.
Sophie Strong, in the centre, was supported by Sienna Jenkins who created many turnovers once again this week and fed the shooters with accuracy.
Constant pressure was applied by Georgia McCulloch and Remy Muirhead in the midcourt.
Abbey Wills and Gracie Willis were a dynamic duo in the last quarter and the team finished strong with an 11-goal lead at the final whistle.
