The Deniliquin Waring Gardens was a stunning setting for Edward River Council’s Australia Day celebrations with a sea of bright flowers, trees, Australian flags, residents and visitors filling the park.

The free breakfast prepared by the Deniliquin Rotary Club was a hit, and nearby food trucks always had a long line of customers.
The crowd gathered to honour the day, special guests and those receiving awards.
The Edward River Concert Band and Sing Australia Choir entertained the attendees, including a rendition of the National Anthem during the official program.
After the ceremony, there were fun family activities on offer in the gardens until about 2pm.
