Connor lands third in the country

Despite injuring himself just a week before the competition - due to training and other sports activities - Connor was determined to participate and represent his state.

His hard work and perseverance paid off as he managed to finish in the top three spots in the country for the 14year-old boys’ shot put.

Connor’s achievement is a showcase to his dedication and passion for sports and Deniliquin High School says it could not be more proud of the young athlete.
