The RSL Diggers had winners in all divisions in the Campaspe Bowls Weekend Pennant competition on Saturday, with three away from home victories.

Division 2 played Rochester at Rochester, with the Diggers up on two rinks and down narrowly on the third.
RSL won overall by 16 shots, 75-59.
Ian McKenzie, with lead Danny Stanmore, Lindsay Dalzell and Linda Harris were tied at 11-all after 14 ends.
Still, Rochester was a little more composed over the second stage of the match to edge out the visitors.

Craig Taylor (s), Jenny Tonta, Cheryl Bradley and Ty Thurlow held sway in a tight contest.
The Diggers led 23-21 on the 16th end but steadied and took seven shots over the last five ends for a great victory.
RSL 30 def Rochester 26.
Tony Tonta (s), Gary Koopman, Ty Hillier and Garry Hulm had a decisive win on their rink.
They led 16-14 after 14 ends and cruised home to win emphatically, winning the remaining seven ends and amassing 12 shots to win by 14.
All team members contributed to the comprehensive result.

Division 3 played Deniliquin Bowling Club the the DBC greens.
RSL won overall by an impressive 29 shots, 72-43, with the Diggers winning on all three rinks.
Tony King (s), James Rhook, Peter Thommers and Alan Hodges continued their excellent form this season to win in a tight and dour affair.
They led throughout and claimed a solid victory by five shots.

Neville Austin (s), Ken Bowden, Peter Todd, and Jacob Glenn also had solid wins.
The game was delicately balanced after 15 ends, with the Diggers up by three shots – 17-14.
They took five shots on the next two ends to create breathing space and maintained that buffer to run out six-shot winners.

Jim Jennings (s), Archie Webster, Brian Clancy and Sandra Hill scored the most decisive victory for the day with a superb win by 18 shots.
Club legend Jim Jennings led his team brilliantly to complete a clean sweep for the division.
RSL 31 def DBC 13.
Divison 4 played Tongala away.
RSL won overall by 28 shots, 72-43, with the Diggers winning on all three rinks.
John Wilson (s), Paul Connor, Graeme Gordon, and Callan Glenn won comfortably, with all members contributing to their positions.
They led throughout for a solid six-shot victory.
RSL 18 def Tongala 12.
Bruce Clancy (s), Bruce Ferry, Gaye Goodwin and Ella Hepworth were down 9-14 after 12 ends.
Still, a magnificent maximum ‘8’ saw them jump to the lead.
They went on with the job, winning comfortably by 10 shots overall.
Congratulations to all four rink members on achieving and enjoying such an exceptional team bowling moment.

Peter Liefting (s), Wayne Bradley, Ian Chessells and Neils Hilton completed the clean sweep for the Diggers.
Despite a fightback from Tongala, which tied the game up at 14 all after 13 ends, RSL took 19 shots to three over the last eight for a 16-shot buffer and a comfortable win.

The Club championship singles games are through to the decider, and mixed pairs have started.
Garry Hulm defeated Mirro Peterman, while Gary Koopman won against Craig Taylor in two high-quality semi-final games during the week.
The final is set for this Sunday at 10.30 am.
