And depending on where you choose to shop, and how much you spend, that decision will earn you an automatic entry into The Great Christmas Card Giveaway.
It’s as easy as spending at least $20, filling in your details and placing your ticket in the entry box in any participating store.
Each of the 24 stores taking part in the promotion will have a store voucher to give away, valued between $200 and $600.
And all remaining tickets will go into a second chance draw to win a $1000 Deni Gift card.
The second chance draw, which is supported by Edward River Council, will take place on December 16 at Carols by Candlelight in the Waring Gardens.
Entries can be earned right up until the time of the draw if you take advantage of the late night shopping the same night.
Deniliquin Showcase Jewellers owner Kate Smith said shoppers are responding well to the new-look Deniliquin Pastoral Times shop local initiative.
And the trade off - and the intention of the annual promotion - is that local businesses receive much needed support at this time of the year.
“Everyone loves the chance to win something,” she said.
This year yellow gold jewellery and the Von Treskow fashion jewellery line have been very popular among shoppers.
“More women have been shopping than men so far,” Mrs Smith said.
“We find the men tend to pop in at the last minute,” she said with a smile.
And that’s why Mrs Smith said she expects a strong Christmas trade for weeks to come - right up until Christmas Eve.
