Deniliquin Business Chamber will host the session at the Deniliquin RSL Club on Tuesday, from 5.30pm.
The meeting is open to Chamber member businesses who already accept the cards, and others which may wish to opt in.
The Deni Gift Card – Why Leave Town program provides gift cards which can be loaded with a self-determined amount of funds to be spent at any participating business.
Chamber executive officer Kate Pitt said changes are being made to the program so that it can be incorporated with square business terminals.
She said this should allow more businesses to opt-in to the program.
Next week’s meeting will also provide an overview of the program.
“Being involved with this program is a true way of ensuring money stays in town,” Ms Pitt said.
“If your business is a current partner or are you interested in your business becoming a partner, come along to the members meeting and hear the Zoom presentation from the card suppliers.”
Ms Pitt also encouraged local businesses to like and follow the Chamber’s Facebook page, and to check out the newly renovated website, to ensure they’re not missing out on important information and events.
“We are constantly updating our Facebook page with relevant, interesting, topical and statutory business information,” she said.
“And please update your business details on our new website, if you haven’t already.
“Chamber’s website is a go to place for both locals and non-locals when looking for business information.”
