Police are encouraging people to ensure their cars are secured, and all belongings removed from inside, and yet another car theft is reported in the region.
After two car thefts in Deniliquin a fortnight ago, police received reports of a 2005 Ford being stolen from a Young St property in Moulamein on Sunday.
The car, which had not yet been recovered at the time of going to print, had been parked on an enclosed empty block.
The car’s owner told police all the keys had been accounted for.
Police said there has been an increasing number of similar thefts across the entire region, and urged community members to be safe and vigilant.
