The Rotary Club of Deniliquin project replaces the time capsule unearthed earlier this year, and opened on Australia Day.
The new lot of historic treasures will be opened by the community in 2050.
Rotarian David McPherson said a location for the new time capsule is yet to be confirmed.
He said conversations with Edward River Council about the most appropriate spot are continuing.
Mr McPherson said the aim is to find a space more accessible and more visible than the former burial location in the Deniliquin Island Sanctuary.
Those wishing to be involved in the project will need to purchase one of the time capsule envelopes.
Envelopes cost from $10 to $100, depending on size.
Mr McPherson said there were about 900 envelopes in the 2025 time capsule, and he hopes they will have more to go in this time around.
New envelopes can be purchased from My Shop in Napier St, 1521 2QN or the Pastoral Times office.
Items which could be included in your envelope include letters to children or other loved ones, photographs, reports and any other documentation that reflects life in 2025.
Once you have filled your envelope, they can be returned to My Shop.
All envelopes must be received by May 30 to be included in the time capsule.
