Blue Heelers to start training

The inaugural training session, scheduled for 6.30pm Wednesday at Deniliquin Rotary Park, will serve as a crucial gauge of the club's progress in its comeback journey.

A strong turnout at this first session is vital, as it will determine the club's ability to meet league requirements and secure its future.

To compete in the Proten league this year, the club must consistently field both men's and women's teams, with a strict no-forfeit policy throughout the entire season.

Team recruitment and fitness has to be up to scratch by the start of the competition, with round one scheduled for Saturday, May 24.

In that opening round, Deniliquin will come up against Goolgowi in Ivanhoe.
