A great team effort to clock up a second win of the season. There were lots of strong drives into attack and great shooting to convert the many intercepts down the court. Well done everyone.
Awards: Bridie Blake, Emmy Weir and Sarah Hanmer.
B grade: Blighty 45 def Rennie 43.
It was an all round amazing game from B grade this week. Everyone was composed and came together as a whole and worked the ball from the defence to the attack beautifully.

C grade: Blighty 28 def Rennie 24.
Defenders Meg Erickson and Brittney Butcher worked hard to create many turnovers. Steph Barry and Andrea Sneddon worked very well together in the ring and shot accurately. It was a good team effort to get the win. Congrats to all senior teams on wins.

The result did not show how hard the girls worked. Super proud at the effort everyone put in. The defence players were tremendous.
Awards: Jessie Hanmer, Stevie Bateman and Erica Nicholls.
Under 13s: Blighty 9 to Rennie 32.
Ash Charlton did a great job in GA shooting with Ellie Gavel, but the Rennie girls were too strong. Despite the loss, the Blighty girls were a sea of smiling faces.
Awards: Ash Charlton, Ellie Gavel, Lucy Dudley and Ruby Pisasale.
Under 11s: Not scored.
Ella Charlton gave her best all game and Inga Steenholdt’s focus was to jump and chase the ball, which she did well. Both girls were award winners this week. Everyone is improving each week, and by the end of the game everyone was chasing loose balls.
