Police, MHAG connect
Deniliquin Police have marked Mental Health Month, held every October, by attending a morning tea and connecting with members of the Deniliquin Mental Health Awareness Group (Deni MHAG).
“This was a great opportunity for police and admin staff at the police station to talk about mental health, and meet with a great community mental health awareness group,” Cheif Inspector Michael Fuller said.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to connect.”
Deni MHAG’s community Mental Health Month activitiy is coming up later this month.
The ‘Mental Health: It’s not as scary as you think’ plays into the fun of Halloween, and invites people to dress up, trick or treat in the Deniliquin CBD and gather resources on mental health tips and pathways to help.
