A nearby resident called police after hearing screams and yelling about 12.30am.
The resident told police three young people were seen wearing balaclavas.
The small fire was able to be stamped out by police.

Car and trailer roll
Fatigue is believed to be a factor in a car crash on the Cobb Highway near Mathoura on Friday morning.
Emergency services were called to a section of the highway about 1.30am after the car and the trailer it was towing rolled.
A 51 year-old male was assessed at the scene and had no visible injuries, but was taken to Deniliquin Hospital as a precaution.
Vape, cannabis seized
A young person who was allegedly vaping inside a Deniliquin supermarket has been charged with possession of cannabis.
Police were called to the supermarket about 2.15pm on May 22 after reports of a person using an electronic vape inside the business.
The young person voluntarily handed over the vape, and was then subjected to a search.
This is when police allege to have found a small amount of “green vegetable matter”.
The young person was issued with a court attendance notice for possession.
Car fire and fight
Police are continuing investigations after being called to a car fire and fight in Crispe St, Deniliquin on May 20.
The incident was reported about 1.30am.
As police arrived, three people were seen leaving the scene.
Police said the victim had already extinguished the fire and declined medical assistance, opting instead to present at the hospital of their own accord the next day.
