Two people dead after truck smashes into house

Two people who were inside the house died at the scene, with police yet to formally identify their bodies.

The male truck driver was taken to hospital where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Detectives from the major collision unit are on their way to the scene of the crash, which is about three hours drive from Melbourne.
