The YMCC Bulls versed City Colts with the Bulls winning the toss and electing to bowl.
While the Bulls got off to a great start having city colts 2 for 7 off 3 overs then 3 for 10 after 10, city colts knuckled down to keep the score ticking over slowly.
With opening bowlers Harry Barker, Lachlan Phillips and Hunter Frauenfelder bowling great line and length, TJ Docking and Jackson Purtell then came on and took the pace off the ball, both bowling superbly keeping runs to a minimum.
After consolidating through the middle overs the Colts were able to get their way to 128 off their allotted 42 overs.
The young Bulls are well in this match but will need to dig deep next week and bat well to have a chance of getting the win.
Also a huge thank you to Tracey Noy for doing the scoring, games can’t happen without participation from everyone
City Colts 7-128 off their 42 overs.
Lachlan Phillips 2-25 off 6, Harry Barker 0-10 off 6, Hunter Frauenfelder 2--12 off 6, Jack Costigan 1-7 off 3, William Turnell 1-14 off 3, TJ Docking 0-11 off 6, Jackson Purtell 1-9 off 5,
Geoffrey Montgomery kept extremely well for the full 42 overs with 2 catches.
